Tottenham vs QPR: Individual Player Statistics 0

Tottenham returned to White Hart Lane for the first time this season and produced a performance of impressive pace, intensity and imagination.  It’s very early in the season and QPR are not really a barometer of Mauricio Pochettino’s progress, but the Argentinean’s imprint is already visible on his side.  Quick transitions from midfield, free-form attacking, and relentless pressing - those where the values Pochettino was expected to bring from Southampton, and they were all in evidence today.

Here are the statistics from White Hart Lane:

- Etienne Capoue had 131 touches of the ball, the most in the game.

- Christian Eriksen, Emmanuel Adebayor and Steven Caulker all recorded a game-high 4 shots.

- Nacer Chadli and Emmanuel Adebayor each hit the target with two attempts, the most in the game.

- The same two each completed 93% of their passes, the highest amongst all starting non-defensive players.

-  Danny Rose won 5 aerial-duels, the most in the game.

- Joey Barton contested 8 tackles, more than any other player.

- Armand Traore made a game-high 6 successful interceptions.

- Armand Traore and Steven Caulker led the game with 5 defensive-clearances each.

- Joey Barton attempted more crosses than any other player (7).

- Erik Lamela completed twice as many dribbles as any other player (6).

- Loic Remy and Leroy Fer were each fouled a game-high 3 times.

- Erik Lamela was the game’s most-dispossessed player (4).
